The Optical Technician is responsible for maximizing retail sales while supporting patients' medical needs by fitting and dispensing glasses and contacts. They educate patients on lens options and perform precise measurements and frame adjustments.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for previous medical or ophthalmic experience and at least one year of customer interaction. ABO and NCLE certifications are preferred but not required.
