The Tax Associate will meet with clients to gather information and prepare accurate tax returns while identifying tax savings opportunities. They are responsible for explaining tax information clearly and building strong client relationships through a client-first approach.
Candidates must have completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with experience in a service-oriented environment, are required.
As a seasonal Tax Associate at H&R Block, you’ll begin a career in tax and client services—no prior tax experience required. With training and support from day one, you’ll work directly with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions while building valuable skills and strong client relationships. You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to increase your earnings as you build tax knowledge and grow in the role. This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office.
