Key Account Director, Top 20 Pharma
Why you should join us
Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their therapeutics. We're building a commercial engine that lets pharmaceutical marketers launch campaigns at 100x the speed.
Rapid growth: Over the past year we've worked with some of the top life sciences manufacturers and now support 50+ pharma brands.
Frontiers of technology: We're building at the frontier of applied AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks, and continually folding advanced approaches into the product to expand what pharmaceutical marketing can be.
Top-tier investors: We've raised from Transformation Capital, Twelve Below, Virtue, and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators.
About the role
As our Key Account Director for top 20 pharma, you'll own Solstice's entire commercial relationship with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical organizations. You'll carry the account from first brand-team engagement through signed enterprise contract, and then expand Solstice's footprint across large pharma brands, franchises, and therapeutic areas over time. You'll be the person in the room with brand leads and procurement, translating what Solstice does into value a launch team can act on, and navigating the complex, compliance-heavy questions that come with selling into large pharma. This is a high-ownership seat for someone who wants to win a marquee logo, works well across a lot of stakeholders, and can carry a multi-brand account end to end.
What you'll do
Own the full relationship with top 20 pharma landing the initial contract and then driving expansion across the account's brands, franchises, and therapeutic areas.
Map and penetrate a large, complex pharmaceutical organization, building relationships across multiple brand and commercial teams and earning a durable seat with the buying group.
Lead conversations with procurement and negotiate enterprise MSA terms at scale.
Serve as a credible, consultative partner to commercial and brand teams, fielding complex product questions and building conviction across a wide and varied set of stakeholders.
Work closely with our founders and product team to sharpen positioning and bring the voice of the customer back into the roadmap.
What we're looking for
7–11 years selling into commercial pharmaceutical accounts, with direct experience selling to large pharma commercial and brand teams. Existing relationships within top 20 pharma are a strong plus.
Proven ownership of a large, strategic account or logo, including multi-stakeholder expansion over time.
Strong oral communication. You can hold the room, run a discovery call, and present with clarity and confidence.
A natural relationship-builder. Highly personable, easy to work with, and able to earn trust across a wide and varied set of stakeholders.
Sharp product instincts. You think critically about the product and can navigate complex, ambiguous questions on the fly.
A real drive to win. You want it badly and you bring energy and urgency to every deal.
Low ego and team-first. You share credit, ask for help, and put the outcome ahead of the spotlight.
Benefits:
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Ground-floor equity opportunity
Flexible PTO
401(k)
Visa sponsorship (O-1, H-1B, TN) available
Professional growth stipend
Relocation support
Work in a high-velocity, high-impact environment
Competitive NYC Compensation:
This role offers a highly competitive NYC salary in the $180,000–$220,000, competitive equity, OTE of 280k+ calibrated to reflect experience, seniority, and the level of ownership you'll take on as part of the early team. We benchmark against top-tier startups and established tech companies to ensure our compensation is both fair and compelling.
