The Forklift Operator is responsible for accurately building and loading pallets of product onto trucks while adhering to safety and company standards. They also maintain warehouse cleanliness, assist with inventory organization, and train new employees on operational duties.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 6-12 months of forklift experience in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in basic math, the ability to read load sheets, and the capacity to obtain a forklift license are required.

Essential Functions
Education Level
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience
6-12 months forklift experience in a warehouse environment; previous food/beverage warehouse experience strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of warehouse/food distribution environment; beverage industry. Skill in internal customer service. Ability to: count accurately; read (e.g. load sheets) and write; work independently, quickly and efficiently; communicate effectively with other employees and develop good working relationships; adapt to change; obtain a forklift license; operate a forklift, motorized pallet jack and other mechanical equipment; perform basic math functions; multi-task. Other functions, skills and abilities may also apply.
