The Production Planner manages customer orders, production schedules, and inventory levels across two manufacturing sites. They coordinate between Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure timely execution and maintain production flow.
Candidates need an Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field with at least three years of manufacturing scheduling experience. Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Epicor, and Microsoft Office is required.
Reporting to the Production Scheduling Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for managing customer orders, production scheduling, and inventory planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate and timely execution across both sites. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and ERP skills to coordinate across Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, respond to changing priorities, and maintain production flow and customer commitments.
Qualified candidates will have an A.A.S degree in Business Administration or related field and minimum of three years’ experience in scheduling/ planning position in a manufacturing company. Preferred candidates will have bachelor’s degree and/or planning certifications. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
