The Shop Floor Dispatcher is responsible for ordering, moving, and delivering materials and drawings to work centers within the plant. They maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and coordinate with planners and supervisors to address material shortages.
A high school diploma is required, with preferred experience in heavy mechanical or electrical assembly or manufacturing. Candidates must be able to operate powered industrial vehicles and interpret complex technical drawings.

The Shop Floor Dispatcher orders, delivers, moved and places materials within the plant as scheduled. Sorts and distributes bill of materials and drawings. Responsible for revisions, corrections, deletions and additions to work bill and drawings. Detects critical needs, advises planners and supervisors. Insures accurate computer inventory records of material usage.
