Job Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for taking consultative approach to sales to develop accounts and manage a sales territory through contacting warm leads and relationship building. The focus is to grow a portfolio of repeat customers across the assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and retain customers
Drive sales in assigned territory through outbound efforts to engage, grow and retain customers
Manage sales process via calls, email, web chats to develop and grow relationships with customers in order to achieve channel sales goals and program goals
Prepare quotes
Assist customers with pricing and availability, order processing, and order status
Resolve issues by working with the customer, territory sales team, and/or any pertinent internal departments
Act as liaison between customers and technical team
Facilitate providing customers with marketing assistance such as web development, social media development, and graphics
Lead quarterly customer webinars by selecting and preparing content that will help build customers’ businesses
Deliver sales presentations and product updates
Use in-depth knowledge of product application and specifications to assist customers in selecting product for their business
Provide customers with product details - features, benefits, competitive comparison
Configure generators for customer using fuel source requirements, voltage and transfer switch compatibility specifications
Assist with the promotion of new product launches
Guide customers to utilize tools available to confirm correct product
Provide post-onboarding support & development through the dealer/distributor life cycle
Drive engagement of our customers to all applicable resources and programs
Review resources and business-building tools available for our partners to assist in their success
Promote channel programs and benefits of participating in these programs
Inform and educate on promotional opportunities available to customers to enhance relationships and continue to foster and grow sales
Minimal Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience
1 year relevant sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP
