Primary Function
Responsibilities
Unload trucks and put away materials.
Load complete materials for shipment.
Pick, stage and deliver materials and components to the assembly line based on production schedules and work orders
Ensure assembly lines are continuously supplied with required parts, packaging and materials to prevent line downtime
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety requirements
Accurately perform inventory transactions and material movements in SAP at the time of movement
Verify material numbers, quantities and labels before staging or racking materials
Monitor material levels at the line and proactively communicate potential shortages to the Team Lead or Supervisor
Store materials in designated locations following established procedures and 5S standards
Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks and resolution of inventory discrepancies as required
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area, reporting hazards or equipment concerns immediately
Follow all plant safety policies, work rules and PPE requirements
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs
Qualifications
Basic computer knowledge and navigation is helpful. Must have a valid state driver’s license and the aptitude to obtain a company forklift license prior to performing forklift duties.
Experience and knowledge of the commercial boilers, water heaters and pool heaters. Prior assembly experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills via written and oral
Promotes a safe and organized work area.

Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
