This role manages the evaluation and risk assessment of innovation and commercialization projects for portfolio brands. It involves supporting project trials and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards from design through product launch.
Requires 3-5 years of plant quality experience in food or CPG, with familiarity in USDA, FDA, or CFIA regulations. Preferred certifications include PCQI and Better Process Control School, along with strong project management skills.
This role ensures efficient and effective evaluation and risk management of innovation and commercialization projects. This position works closely with the business units and cross functional teams to provide successful commercialization of new products, line extensions and product renovations. This position will support project trials, innovations, renovation and maintenance covering both internal and external manufacturing facilities.
Candidate must be able to travel independently, have the ability to drive a vehicle, fly commercially and be located near a major airport. Travel required 40-55%. This position is considered a Field based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc. Additionally, this role requires first shift work, however, flexibility is required based on plant requirements.
