Job Description
The GCC Compliance Operations Manager serves as the operational compliance partner for the GCC business and acts as a key extension of the MENAT Compliance function. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of the Sobi Compliance Program across GCC markets, with particular focus on operational compliance excellence, audit and inspection readiness, third-party risk management (TPRM), documentation governance, compliance monitoring, and local regulatory intelligence. The position works closely with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, distributors, and third-party partners to ensure compliant business operations while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and proactive risk management. The role supports the Compliance Director MENAT by strengthening local execution and responsiveness, while enabling the regional function to focus on governance, strategic risk management, investigations, business partnering, and regional transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Operations & Business Support
Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day compliance guidance across GCC markets.
Provide practical support to business teams regarding policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Support implementation of global and regional compliance initiatives.
Promote a strong culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability.
Escalate significant compliance matters to the Compliance Director MENAT.
Audit Readiness & Documentation Governance
Drive affiliate and distributor audit readiness activities.
Ensure compliance documentation is complete, organized, and inspection ready.
Track and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
Coordinate third-party due diligence activities across GCC.
Support risk assessments of distributors, vendors, consultants, service providers, and patient organizations.
Monitor due diligence renewals and ongoing third-party risk reviews.
Maintain TPRM documentation and records.
Monitoring & Compliance Oversight
Conduct compliance monitoring activities according to approved monitoring plans.
Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare monitoring reports and follow-up actions.
Regulatory Intelligence & Local Compliance Updates
Track changes in local regulations, industry codes, and SFDA requirements.
Prepare periodic compliance intelligence updates.
Distributor & Vendor Compliance Oversight
Support governance, reviews and oversight of key distributors and high-risk third parties.
Monitor compliance commitments and action plans.
Support distributor training and awareness initiatives.
Compliance Committee & Governance Support
Coordinate local compliance governance meetings.
Track action items and follow-up activities.
Prepare compliance dashboards, metrics, and reports. o Support periodic compliance updates to leadership teams.

Qualifications
Education/Learning Experience
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
Advanced degree preferred
Work Experience
3-5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical compliance, risk management, healthcare compliance, internal controls, legal, audit, or related fields.
Experience working within GCC healthcare markets.
Experience with third-party risk management and compliance monitoring.
Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and industry codes.
Skills/Knowledge
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance principles.
Knowledge of GCC healthcare regulatory environment.
