Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Landscape Arch/ Soft Finishes Inspector (Saudi National) to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action promptly.

• Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices.

• Report any works carried out by contractors found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.

• Monitor the quality of executed works and the progress on site daily.

• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.

• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.

• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.

• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise. 

• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.

• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.

• Assist in or measure work done when required.

• Observe site safety procedures.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Must have a Degree in Landscape Architecture with 7 plus years of related experience in direct landscape work.

• Should have good English communication skills
