The Maintenance Supervisor manages the community's physical plant, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe environment. Responsibilities include performing repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and overseeing supplies for laundry and housekeeping.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license without restrictions. Experience in a similar maintenance role and a service-minded, dependable personality are required.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the community’s physical plant, grounds, and equipment in-order to ensure a safe environment.
Position Responsibilities Supervisor of Maintenance:
Repairs and maintains or supervises repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of the facility and equipment or obtains professional maintenance of equipment and/or facility
Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and the shoveling of dirt and snow.
Maintains all records for the environmental services departments, conducts preventative maintenance program
Cleans and maintains mechanical and electrical systems
Orders and distributes all supplies for laundry, housekeeping and maintenance
Orients new hires on fire safety, SDS and lock out tag out procedures
* Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be licensed to drive without restrictions.
