The Risk Underwriter is responsible for conducting comprehensive credit and risk analysis of commercial accounts to determine financial viability and lending capacity. This includes reviewing financial statements, performing industry analysis, and managing a portfolio of customers through meetings and reporting.
Candidates should have 5-10 years of related experience and a preferred Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, understanding global accounting policies, and managing high-volume workloads under tight deadlines is required.
● Experience required in conducting customer meetings to obtain financial information from varying level of clientele across North America is a benefit.
● Good knowledge of reviewing financial statements and understanding key performance ratios in evaluating financials.
● Experience of reviewing foreign financial statements and understanding accounting policies across various countries.
● Ability to be self starter and handle a designated portfolio of customers to ensure customer focus and provide collaboration with external and internal customers to meet the desired results.
● Must be able to handle high volume of work and meet tight deadlines
