What you'll be doing
As the Senior Associate – Business Solutions, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of shared services to our Joint Ventures (JVs). You will ensure seamless operational collaboration between Chalhoub Group’s shared service teams (including Technology, Operations, Omnichannel, Legal, and others) and the JV entities.
With a strong understanding of retail operations, systems, and project execution, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of Group initiatives within the JVs and managing operational escalations. You will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that shared services meet JV needs, while ensuring efficiency, alignment, and business continuity.
Operational Coordination:
Support day-to-day interactions between JVs and Chalhoub Group shared services teams.
Coordinate the integration of Group initiatives into JV operations (e.g., ERP migrations, e-commerce rollout, omnichannel enablement).
Monitor progress of key operational projects, flag risks, and propose mitigations.
Ensure project documentation and reporting standards are met.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as the first point of contact for JV operational and service-related escalations.
Maintain regular coordination with shared services managers to align on project progress, business needs, and timelines.
Support communications and status updates to senior managers and leadership teams.
Project Management Support:
Track progress of cross-functional shared services projects in the JV landscape.
Prepare reporting packs, presentations, and updates for governance meetings.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service levels.
Financial & Operational Support:
Assist in budget tracking for shared services projects in JVs.
Contribute to cost and ROI analysis for shared services activities and project deployments.
Team Support & Collaboration:
Collaborate with Senior Associates and other team members on shared tasks.
Support knowledge transfer and ensure alignment across functional teams.
Promote Chalhoub Group’s shared services within JV entities.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in operations, retail, shared services, or consulting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent. Master’s degree is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of retail operations and business processes, preferably in a luxury or omnichannel context.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Shopify, etc.).
Project Coordination: Experience managing or supporting cross-functional projects.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Languages: English required; French or Italian is a plus.
