Full job description
Operations Analyst, Partner Markets
Your experience in commercial operations, business analytics and cross-functional coordination could be just what we are looking for. Join Partner Markets and help turn plans, forecasts and partner commitments into structured execution across a diverse global portfolio.
Your new role
As Operations Analyst, Partner Markets, you will provide hands-on operational, coordination and follow-up support across Lundbeck’s partner-led markets. Working under the day-to-day direction of the Senior Managers, Partner Markets Operations, and in close collaboration with the Vice President and Head of Partner Markets, you will help maintain execution discipline and support consistent delivery across assigned partner geographies.
You will prepare materials, coordinate cross-functional inputs, maintain trackers and ensure structured follow-up on agreed actions, deliverables and partner commitments. The role has a global scope and will be flexibly allocated across the Senior Managers, Partner Markets Operations, depending on business priorities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting day-to-day operational relationships with partner organizations and coordinating input from Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Pricing & Market Access, Legal, Medical, Commercial and other global functions.
Preparing and following up on annual partner business planning, partner business reviews, Cross-Functional Team meetings, Joint Partner Team meetings and recurring operations meetings.
Maintaining action logs, timelines and execution trackers related to launch readiness, supply coordination, operational delivery, forecasts, budgets and partner commitments.
Supporting demand planning, forecasting, order management and inventory updates by collecting and consolidating data and following up on supply–demand risks and mitigation actions.
Tracking operational KPIs, reporting requirements and contractual commitments, including quarterly business reviews, monthly performance reports, supply plan updates, financial AOP targets, 24-month forecasts and pricing and market access forecasts.
Supporting analysis of sales performance, order trends, market dynamics and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
Contributing to operational and strategic initiatives involving portfolio and lifecycle management, SKU optimization, scenario modelling, business cases and growth acceleration.
Identifying operational risks, deviations, delays and opportunities, proposing solutions and escalating critical matters to Senior Managers or HQ leadership as appropriate.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and no direct P&L responsibility.
Your future team
Partner Markets is part of North-Central Europe & Partner Markets within Europe & International Operations. Our office is located in Valby, Denmark, and the team supports partner-led markets across a broad range of assigned geographies.
You will work closely with the Senior Managers, Partner Markets Operations, the Vice President and Head of Partner Markets, as well as colleagues across global functions. Internally, you will connect Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Medical, Commercial, Pricing & Market Access and Legal to support effective prioritization and delivery. Externally, you will engage directly with partner organizations to align operational plans, resolve issues and support compliance with commercial, regulatory and contractual commitments.
The role gives you broad exposure to how Lundbeck manages partner markets, from planning and forecasting to governance, supply coordination, launch readiness and performance management. Your work will help create transparency, accountability and timely follow-up across multiple stakeholders and markets.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
You bring strong analytical and strategic thinking, combined with a structured approach to execution. You are able to manage multiple activities, translate complex information into clear recommendations and maintain momentum across a broad stakeholder landscape.
We are looking for someone who brings:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Life Sciences or a related field.
At least four years of relevant experience in Business Insights, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Strategy, Finance or Commercial Operations.
Experience supporting forecasting, business planning, KPI management, performance management and data-driven business recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI or other business intelligence tools, together with fluent written and spoken English.
You have experience working in a multinational, matrix organization and are comfortable influencing stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional initiatives. You communicate clearly, prepare effective presentations and can align diverse stakeholders around shared objectives. Experience from the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and knowledge of supply chain management are preferred but not required.
Our promise to you
