The manager is responsible for overseeing non-ferrous (NF) receiving and processing operations while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key duties include managing personnel, optimizing workflow layouts, and partnering with commercial teams for inventory and buying strategies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the metal recycling industry. A valid driver's license and thorough knowledge of NF materials grading are required.
General Position Summary & Responsibilities:
The Recycling Operations NF Manager (RONFM) reports to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all efforts are compliant with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental regulations. The NF Processing Manager regularly works with the commercial department and other department managers to ensure complete adherence to receiving and processing responsibilities.
This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal is to achieve excellence in all facets of the NF receiving and processing operations. Some, but not all, of the responsibilities of the NF Processing Manager are noted below:

Founded in 1968, Cascade Steel Rolling Mills is a state-of-the-art steel manufacturing facility that takes recycled metal and turns it into high-quality finished steel products. Located in McMinnville, Oregon, our electric arc furnace (EAF) mini-mill produces a wide range of hot rolled products such as reinforcing bar (rebar), coiled reinforcing bar, wire rod, merchant bar and other specialty products.
