The Marine Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the safety, navigation, and commercial readiness of vessels while maintaining compliance with international regulations. They oversee cargo operations, conduct safety inspections, and manage technical maintenance and vetting processes.
Candidates must hold a Master’s Certificate of Competency and possess at least two years of senior management experience at sea or one year in a similar shore-based role. Strong knowledge of maritime safety, cargo operations, and regulatory compliance is required.
