The Branch Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end closes for assigned branches through journal entries and account reconciliations. The role also involves maintaining standardized workpapers and collaborating with corporate accounting to ensure GAAP compliance.
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, along with 1-3 years of accounting experience in a multi-branch or project-based environment. Proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of general accounting principles are required.

Position Purpose: The Branch Staff Accountant supports accurate and timely month-end close for assigned branches by preparing recurring journal entries, completing account reconciliations and rollforwards, and maintaining standardized workpapers in accordance with GAAP and company policies. This role works closely with the Branch Accounting Manager and corporate accounting team to ensure branch financial results are properly recorded, documented, and supported, with a strong emphasis on consistency, attention to detail, and continuous improvement of branch-level processes and controls.
