Position Summary
The Bean Milling Processor carries out daily bean milling and handling operations, including maintaining facility cleanliness, operating processing machinery, collecting samples for quality checks, and packaging bean-based ingredients. The position requires operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, or payloaders, as well as conducting routine pre- and post-operation inspections of production equipment. Responsibilities also include supporting preventative maintenance with repairs on milling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure product integrity. The individual monitors incoming and outgoing product quality, following all food safety standards, and promptly reports any concerns while actively participating in training and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and mechanically inclined, with the ability to operate equipment, follow strict food safety standards, and work reliably in a hands-on production environment.
This is a night shift position with overnight shift work expectations. The incumbent in the role MUST have night shift availability shifts based on business schedule and needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned food grain operations tasks including but not limited to general facility upkeep, operating processing equipment, sampling for quality, and packaging
Operate various types of mobile equipment such as a forklift, bobcat, or payloader
Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of all food processing equipment
Assist with performing planned preventative maintenance ensuring limited downtime and product contamination
Inspect quality of the incoming or outgoing product and report findings
Maintain a good working knowledge and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures
Perform all tasks in a fashion that promotes the safety and quality of our products
Actively participate in all required food safety and quality related meetings and training events
Identify and report all food safety and quality issues to management immediately

Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
Working conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
