The Vehicle Service Technician ensures all ambulances are clean, stocked, and mechanically sound to support daily operations. They are responsible for routine inspections, equipment checks, and transporting vehicles for repairs.
Requires at least one year of vehicle servicing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license, BLS certification, and be capable of lifting up to 110 pounds.
Overview
The Vehicle Service Technician (VST) is responsible for ensuring all ambulances and response vehicles are clean, stocked, safe, and in proper working condition to support daily operations. The VST will also maintain the supply room and facilitate filling supply and equipment requests. They will assist the Logistics Supervisor in the transportation and delivery of units for repairs when needed. This role plays a critical part in maintaining readiness by performing routine inspections, basic maintenance, and equipment checks while ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
