ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Open doors for residents who lock themselves out of their apartments. Be on call for emergency situations and refer to the appropriate resources such as the Property Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, Fire Department, Medic, Police, etc. See that the building is secure. Distribute flyers, notices, etc., at the request of Property Manager. Report to the Property Manager any hazardous conditions at the development/ complex and other building problems. May leave the premises as needed provided the Property Manager is notified in advance, and flyers are posted accordingly. Light janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and other as assigned by Property Manager. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Two years related experience in property management/training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OFFICE EXPERIENCE: Proficient in MS Office, particularly email (both the desktop version and web based), word, and excel; knowledge of office management systems and procedures, excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Attention to details and problem-solving skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, utility billings, financial documents, instructional documents, rental agreements, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
