The host/hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests while ensuring efficient table management and a clean front-of-house environment. They also act as a primary point of contact for guest concerns and coordinate closely with kitchen and service staff.
Previous host or food service experience is preferred, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be able to obtain food safety certification and maintain a flexible schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Not only will you help greet and seat guests at dining locations, but you’ll also play a key role in providing general help to guests and solving any issues to make sure our customers leave happily.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $14.00 to $15.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

• Greets guests as they arrive seat them accordingly ensuring the optimum use of tables
• Ensures any special needs or requests for diners are accommodated and arranged
• Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the front-of-house environment
• Escalates any guest needs or concerns as necessary
• Works closely with the kitchen staff and servers optimizing communication to ensure efficient operations
• Maintains excellent guest service and positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adaptable to guest needs
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred
Demonstrates excellent guest service skills
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
The ideal candidate has a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Enjoys working in a lively environment
Must be able to obtain food safety certification
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
