The Catering Supervisor directs guest needs and manages staff check-ins and breakdowns for events. They ensure food quality, maintain safety guidelines, and oversee the execution of event set-up and inventory.
Candidates need 1-3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or food service supervision. Strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible event-based schedule are required.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position.
Schedule: Part time event-based schedule. Open availability preferred. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience working in a similar setting. The candidate should have an outgoing personalitiy and the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. They have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
Summary: The Catering Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Catering Supervisor initially reviews details with the Director. The Supervisor meets the staff at the beginning of a shift and checks each staff memeber in for the event. The Supervisor should understand the content of the meny and ensure timely delivery of food. Strict following of food safety and guidleines are required. The server is responisble for executing area set up and breakdown. The Supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.
