Candidates must have a current Registered Nursing license and at least two years of direct patient care experience. A wound care certification and experience in emergency, critical care, or ET nursing are preferred.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients; participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Position reports to the Director of Wound Care.
