The Interventional Radiology Technologist independently performs or assists in cardiac, neuro, body, and vascular-interventional procedures. They are responsible for administering ionizing radiation, managing medications, and monitoring hemodynamic data while ensuring patient safety and clinical quality.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program and hold ARRT-R certification along with advanced certification in ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, or ARRT-CV. Additionally, ACLS certification is required within six months of hire.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
