Candidates must hold a B.S. or Pharm D from an ACPE-accredited school and possess an active pharmacist license. Requirements include either a PGY-1 residency/fellowship or at least 2 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
