The Mental Health Technician provides safe, supportive, and therapeutic care to psychiatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring patient behavior, performing safety checks, documenting interventions, and assisting with daily living needs.
Candidates must hold an active Registered Nursing Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant license and have at least one year of direct mental health patient care experience. A high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and a Washington State Food Handler’s Permit are also required.
