The Certified Surgical Technologist assists with the care and preparation of surgical patients under the supervision of an operating room RN. They are responsible for the assembly, set-up, and management of surgical instrumentation and equipment during procedures.
Candidates must be graduates of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or possess equivalent experience and hold an active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration. Health Care Provider level CPR certification is required, and national certification is preferred.
