The Clinical Educator delivers evidence-based patient care and provides formal and informal education to nurses, students, and other health professionals. They also lead, delegate, and mentor staff within the Emergency Department, Short-term Observation, and float pool units.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with an MSN or active enrollment in an MSN program. A current Registered Nurse license by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State is required.
Position Purpose:
The Clinical Educator works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Emergency Department, Short-term Observation and the float pool to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What You Will Do:

Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team.
Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MSN or actively enrolled in MSN program.
Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
