The Intake Specialist / Customer Service Specialist utilizes strong communication skills daily to engage with our referral sources and patient's clearly and empathetically, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed. Attention to detail is essential for accurately collecting and entering patient information, which supports operational accuracy and compliance. Problem-solving skills are applied when assessing patient needs and directing them to appropriate resources or resolving issues. Proficiency with computer systems and software enables efficient data management and record-keeping. Additionally, interpersonal skills foster collaboration with internal teams to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Synergy, was founded as "Valley Oxygen" by Daniel Luna. He has been in the Durable Medical Equipment industry for over 20 years. As a Respiratory Therapist, Daniel has always understood the importance of patient care. So he set out with great ambition and a desire to provide a higher level of service and in 2004 founded Valley Oxygen in Bakersfield, CA. Valley Oxygen has continued to grow and has added new respiratory products like Noninvasive Ventilation, Cough Assist and Afflovest. With the addition of these new respiratory products, it was no longer Oxygen that was our focus. So we set out to create a name that would encompass all the services we provided. The name Synergy was born. As of 2020, Synergy has a total of 6 locations across California and Nevada. Our core products now include Overnight oximetry testing, End-Tidal CO2 Testing, Portable and Stationary Oxygen Concentrators, Ultra-Fill Concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders, Nebulizers, and Noninvasive Ventilation.
