Lead the technical and general ledger accounting functions to ensure accurate IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting. Manage the monthly close process, oversee external audits, and provide leadership and guidance to the accounting staff.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA certification, and over 10 years of accounting experience. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or manager-level role within a public accounting firm or accounting function.
Summary:

To identify opportunities to improve the quality of our financial reporting and to execute changes to capture those opportunities. To create a work environment in which your team embraces a service orientation to both internal and external contacts. To ensure that the appropriate systems and controls are in place to adequately protect company assets.
Organizational Impact:
The impact to the organization is to have consistently accurate internal (IFRS) and external (US GAAP) financials that are generated on time and in a manner consistent with respective IFRS and US GAAP guidelines. This role will be instrumental in the recording and safeguarding of company assets including inventory, capital investments and Rewards type program involvement and management.
