The Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, including staffing assignments, patient flow, and the supervision of nursing and support staff. They provide direct clinical care, ensure adherence to safety policies, and mentor staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
Candidates must hold a valid RN license in Colorado and possess at least two years of professional nursing experience. A BLS and ACLS certification are required, along with the ability to work in a secure correctional environment.
