The phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process to ensure efficient plasma collection. They must also maintain equipment, document donor data accurately, and ensure a safe, clean environment in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
