The Intervenor supports individuals with dual sensory impairment by facilitating communication and assisting with daily living activities in their homes and communities. Responsibilities include providing personal care, documenting progress, and helping clients achieve their personal goals.
Candidates must hold a college diploma or certificate in a relevant human services field such as Intervenor for Deafblind Persons, DSW, or SSW. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE) and a valid driver's license are required.
