The Return to Work Specialist facilitates face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, and health practitioners to support recovery and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. They are responsible for educating stakeholders on legislative requirements, monitoring service plans, and managing claims documentation.
Candidates should have previous experience in workers compensation or claims management, with additional experience in allied health or job placement being highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and return-to-work acts are essential for success in this role.
In the role of a Return to Work Specialist, you will be is responsible for helping guide people through their recovery and return to work journey post workplace injury to achieve a sustainable return to work and life. You will do this by delivering a personalised, empathetic face to face service for individuals that have experienced a workplace injury. The roles focus is to positively influence and encourage parties to participate in the return to work process and take ownership of actions.
