Full job description
Join a respected, patient-centered Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Jackson, Michigan!
Rider Oral Surgery is seeking a skilled, compassionate Oral Surgeon to join a well-established practice led by Dr. Cynthia Rider, a lifelong Jackson resident deeply committed to caring for families throughout Jackson and the surrounding communities. This is a unique opportunity to practice high-quality oral surgery in a supportive, family-oriented environment with a loyal patient base and outstanding reputation.
We welcome applicants from any U.S. region or Canada (U.S. licensure, or eligibility, is required) who are open to relocating to Michigan and becoming part of a community-driven, values-based practice.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
Deep Community Roots
Dr. Cynthia Rider was raised in Jackson and takes great pride in caring for families across the region, often treating multiple generations of the same families. Her longstanding presence in the community has resulted in strong referral relationships and exceptional patient trust.
Highly Regarded Patient Experience
Rider Oral Surgery is consistently praised for professionalism, quality care, and compassion. Patients frequently highlight the welcoming staff, efficient appointments, and Dr. Rider’s clear, confident expertise:
“I was referred to the Rider clinic and I believe it was the best place for me. A very professional setting with quality employees. Dr. Rider was prompt, kind, and to the point with her expertise.”
“Dr. Rider does amazing work! My father saw her over 20 years ago, my husband had a great experience, and when it was my turn she was the first place I called. The staff is very welcoming and ensures all needs and worries are met.”
Mission-Driven Leadership
Dr. Rider has participated in numerous voluntary international medical mission trips, providing care to underserved families and communities. These experiences shape the practice’s philosophy, recognizing how impactful oral surgery can be on overall health, dignity, and family well-being.
Supportive, Family-Oriented Culture
Family is central to the practice’s values. The team fosters a warm, respectful environment where providers and staff collaborate closely, support one another, and prioritize work–life balance.
Full-Scope Surgical Care
The practice offers a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgical services with a consistent and diverse patient flow, allowing surgeons to practice comprehensively while maintaining autonomy.
Stability & Long-Term Opportunity
Join a trusted practice with strong leadership, a loyal patient base, and the opportunity to build a lasting career in a stable, physician-led environment.
