Join our Occupational Health Ambulatory Clinic, where RNs play a vital role in supporting employee health, safety, and wellness through proactive, preventive care. This supplemental position offers flexibility while providing opportunities to perform assessments and screenings, support workplace injury care, deliver education, and collaborate closely with employers and providers. Clinic hours are 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with the greatest scheduling need Tuesday through Thursday. This position requires 1–2 days per week and is located at 1402 N. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, at the IU Health new hospital construction site.
Qualifications:
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
