The Registered Respiratory Therapist will evaluate and provide care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. They are also responsible for monitoring patient conditions, performing advanced respiratory modalities, and participating in emergency resuscitation efforts.
Candidates must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee and obtain NBRC registration within one year. A high school diploma with two years of experience or an associate/technical degree is required, along with BLS certification.
