The EKG/Telemetry Tech monitors and interprets patient EKG rhythms as part of the Patient Care Team. They are responsible for testing and observing patients while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Successful completion of EKG training upon hire is required, and an associate degree is preferred.

The EKG/Telemetry Tech is responsible for testing, observing, monitoring, and interpreting patients EKG rhythms in conjunction with the established departmental policies and procedures.
