The Registered Nurse will provide direct care to residents while monitoring the performance of LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure high standards of nursing care. They are responsible for assessing resident health conditions, coordinating with physicians and families, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state. At least one year of nursing experience is required, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional nursing standards.
This position to ensure that quality care is delivered through assessment and monitoring of staff performance, physician contact, care planning and daily resident assessment. This position also provides direct care to residents. All this is done according to nursing standards of practice, standard procedures, and established State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
