The pharmacist is responsible for the accurate preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications while providing professional patient counseling. Additional duties include managing pharmacy inventory, compounding specialized medications, and performing medication therapy management.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science or Doctoral degree in Pharmacy and a valid Registered Pharmacist license in the District of Columbia. A minimum of one year of licensed professional pharmacy experience is required.
