Requires an associate degree in a technical field and at least three years of experience in enterprise database administration. Candidates must be able to obtain a NIH Public Trust clearance and have experience with relational database platforms.
BRMi is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Hosting and Storage Services On-Premise Cloud Support program. The Junior Database Administrator will assist in the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of enterprise database environments that host mission-critical biomedical research and business applications.
Working under the guidance of senior database engineers and administrators, this position will support database operations, performance monitoring, backup and recovery, patching, upgrades, security, and routine maintenance activities while ensuring the availability, integrity, and reliability of enterprise database systems supporting the NIH Integrated Hosting Platform.
