Assists the Produce Manager in operating the department, focusing on profitability, inventory levels, and maintaining fresh produce displays. Provides world-class customer service and handles register functions including backup cashiering and returns.
Preferred high school diploma or GED with one year of experience in grocery, retail, or produce environments. Must be able to pass food safety certifications and meet physical demands including lifting up to 100 lbs with a team.
The Produce Assistant is responsible for assisting the Produce Manager in the successful operation and profitability of the produce department.
