Motor Claims Officer
We’re seeking a customer-focused professional to play a key role in supporting our Claims team. In this position, you will contribute to minimising company costs by managing recoveries efficiently, fairly, and in line with policy terms and internal procedures.
What you’ll do
Manage the end-to-end recoveries process from initial notification through to finalisation.
Review claim documentation, set and update reserves, and appoint service providers (including external recovery agents).
Assess and determine liability, and negotiate outcomes with third parties and insurers on a daily basis.
Ensure accurate application of policy terms, limits, and excesses when maintaining recovery files.
Develop and execute strategies on complex matters to achieve timely and effective outcomes.
Build strong relationships with members, insurers, and internal stakeholders through clear and proactive communication.
Deliver a high standard of file management and maintain thorough knowledge of protection wordings and procedures.
