The Controller manages all daily accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. They also oversee the accounts payable process, ensure tax compliance, and supervise the accounting department staff.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in multi-family property accounting and proficiency with Yardi Voyager software. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing an accounting team is also required.
Universe Living is looking for a Controller to manage our day-to-day accounting. This position has the ability to grow as we expand our portfolio and business lines. Real Estate Multi-family Property Management and Yardi experience is mandatory. We will only consider candidates based in the Los Angeles area.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum requirements:
· 5 years experience in multi-family property accounting
· 5 years experience with Yardi Voyager or comparable software
· 5 years experience managing an accounting team of 4 or more
· Education in accounting is highly preferred
· Advanced MS Office Skills
