Full job description
This is an opportunity to build a new organization, not inherit one. You will shape how a modern Quality domain plans, governs, and delivers work at enterprise scale, with AI-enabled solutions at the core. The work is high-visibility and outcome-driven, with real accountability for prioritization, capacity, and delivery confidence. If you are at your best when bringing order to complexity and building teams that execute, this role is designed for you.
As a Quality Domain Director within the Quality domain, you will set the direction for how the domain develops, prioritizes, and governs delivery across its portfolio. You will own the integrated enterprise plan, intake readiness gate, and executive reporting for transparency on progress, risk, and decisions. You will govern strategy and onboarding of new use cases, building and leading a team of project managers and execution professionals. You will partner closely with business, product, technology, controls, compliance, legal, finance, and operations stakeholders.
You will drive business transformation of the AI-enabled Quality function, building a modern operating model from the ground up. Set the standard for planning, governance, and delivery, aiming for improvements over legacy approaches. Align function strategy and enterprise plan to firmwide priorities, replacing friction with scalable, repeatable, AI-enabled methods. Maintain a forward-looking execution roadmap, sequencing work based on capacity and dependencies. Govern change control and stage gates, ensuring changes are predictable, compliant, and auditable.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive business transformation of the AI-enabled Quality function.
Set standards for planning, governance, and delivery.
Own function strategy and integrated enterprise plan.
Maintain execution roadmap and sequence work based on capacity and dependencies.
Run intake readiness gate, defining criteria and making go/no-go decisions.
Govern change control and stage gates from initiation through cutover.
Forecast and manage budget, capacity, and business commitments.
Track delivery against plan and course-correct as needed.
Produce and maintain an executive view of the function for leadership.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align priorities and drive outcomes.
Lead, coach, and develop the planning, governance, and execution management team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Significant experience in business transformation and large-scale process improvement.
Demonstrated success standing up governance frameworks or operating models.
Track record governing a complex, multi-stakeholder portfolio in a horizontal function.
Driven, self-motivated leader able to deal with ambiguity.
Strategic decision maker.
Proven ability to manage budgets, capacity plans, and partner relationships.
Advanced executive communication ability, synthesizing complexity into clear narratives.
Experience leading and growing teams through ambiguity.
Transformation mindset that challenges the status quo.
Familiarity with AI-enabled operating models or ability to learn and lead in that context.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
10+ years relevant work experience in business management, process improvement, and transformational work.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
