We are scaling our Finance Operations Centre in Belfast, building a world-class team to support the Group’s continued growth. The finance team is pivotal to the business, ensuring financial information is timely, accurate, complete and compliant with relevant accounting and taxation principles. We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Controller / Finance Manager to lead our Belfast Finance Operations Centre. This is a senior hire with broad ownership of the Group’s financial close, reporting and compliance activities. You will be a key member of the finance leadership team, working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller. The role is based in our Belfast city centre office, with flexibility for hybrid working. Periodic travel to our London headquarters and other Group locations may be required.
What you’ll be doing
Lead the monthly close process across three legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS
Prepare and review Board reporting packs and monthly management accounts
Own SOX compliance oversight for the Belfast team, including control documentation and testing
Coordinate the annual 20-F and quarterly 6-K SEC reporting cycle
Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities, ensuring tax compliance requirements are met and all tax filings are submitted on time
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and advisors
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, embracing automation and system efficiencies
Partner with the Group Financial Controller on technical accounting matters and policy updates
Support international expansion activities and ad hoc CFO-level projects
What we’re looking for
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualified experience
Experience of IFRS reporting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
