The Global Project Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, and configuration of production and broadcast systems, including facility upgrades and equipment procurement. They also manage project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation while collaborating with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful system deployment.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in broadcast project engineering or system design, with a strong understanding of video/audio standards and streaming protocols. The Global Project Engineering team is a group of Engineers and Project Managers responsible for, but not limited to, the design, planning, purchasing and configuration of production equipment and systems in Warner Bros. Discovery’s Production and Broadcast facilities. The GPE Project Engineer position is intended to assist in the design, build, and creation of technical builds at WBD, and to provide technical expertise on new media project initiatives in the advancement of WBD’s media and production infrastructure.
