Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 5 years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace sector. Candidates must be proficient in technical document interpretation and root cause analysis methodologies.
Quality Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer hybrid that supports the manufacture of complex machined structural parts for the Commercial and Defense Aerospace Industry. Duties include new part development, process improvement, Production troubleshooting, and customer liaison for quality issues and configuration change. You will be working cross functionally with Programmers, Production, and Contract Program Managers to ensure smooth resolution of discrepancies, conduct internal audits and drive cause and corrective action activities. Ensures processes and procedures are following regulations. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
