Responsible for collecting and preparing samples of solid fuels and raw materials from various transport modes in a port and refinery setting. Performs laboratory tests and conducts routine maintenance on mechanical sampling equipment to support analytical operations.
Requires 2-5 years of industrial experience with mechanical equipment operation and the ability to pass a background check for a TWIC card. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting 35 lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Field Sampler/Technician wanted for a full-time position based in Longview, WA. This position will be responsible for sampling in the port and refinery environment, performing a variety of laboratory tests and experiments to support a high throughput solid fuels analytical laboratory. The job duties listed are typical examples of the work to be performed in this job classification. The list of duties is not comprehensive, nor is it expected that the candidate will perform all duties and responsibilities listed. Raw material handling and analyses are performed primarily utilizing ASTM standard.
